Plan on driving or using a rideshare to this car-dependent stadium and stay in the Westshore neighborhood for easy access. The stadium's no-bag policy is absolute—even clear bags are banned—so bring only a 4.5” by 6.5” clutch or use the on-site rental lockers. Where to stay for Raymond James Stadium

Neighborhoods such as Westshore, Carver City–Lincoln Gardens, and South Tampa offer convenient hotel options near Raymond James Stadium. Westshore is noted for its business district, shopping, nightlife, and restaurants, with hotels minutes from the stadium and airport.

Westshore

Westshore is a lively commercial district ideal for those seeking convenience, with numerous hotels, shopping centers like International Plaza and WestShore Plaza, and dining options. It is also very close to Tampa International Airport.

The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART) Bus Service offers routes (specifically Route 7 and Route 32) that directly service the Raymond James Stadium area. Many hotels in the area may also offer shuttle services to the stadium. Rideshare services are readily available.

Hyde Park

An upscale, historic, and highly walkable neighborhood known for its tree-lined streets, elegant architecture, upscale boutiques, and diverse dining scene along South Howard Avenue (SoHo). It also features the scenic Bayshore Boulevard, the world's longest continuous sidewalk.

Hyde Park is convenient to Downtown Tampa, which offers access to the TECO Line Streetcar. For Raymond James Stadium, rideshare services or HART bus connections from downtown would be necessary.

Midtown Tampa

Midtown Tampa is a vibrant and relatively new district offering a central location with a mix of retail, dining, and entertainment spaces. It's considered a trendy area with modern amenities and provides a convenient base for exploring the city.

While specific public transit lines directly to venues are not highlighted as a primary feature, Midtown Tampa's central location makes it a short drive to major attractions. Rideshare services would be the most efficient way to reach sports venues.

Transit and approach

Taxis are available at the Dale Mabry mass transit drop-off on the northwest corner of the stadium. Public or chartered transportation can drop off guests with disabilities at the Ford Gate (Gate A) or Suzuki Marine Gate (Gate C). The rideshare (Uber/Lyft/etc.) zone is located at Steinbrenner Field, with drop-off and pick-up across the bridge from the Steinbrenner lot to the Raymond James Stadium side of the bridge, at the bottom of the stairs.

Parking: All parking lots require cashless payment. Advance parking is available for Buccaneers, Bulls, Outback Bowl, and select other events, and it is highly recommended to buy parking passes online in advance. Accessible (ADA) parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis in Lot A/3D (off Dale Mabry) and Lot C/6D (off Himes Avenue). For Buccaneers games, parking lots open 3.5 hours before kickoff.

After the event

Miller's Ale House, located near Dale Mabry Highway and Raymond James Stadium, is a sports bar accessible after games.

The game-day experience

  • Atmosphere area: The stadium is located at 4201 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa, FL 33607, and is managed by the Tampa Sports Authority.
  • Tailgating: Tailgating is permitted in stadium parking lots. Guests must occupy only one 10' x 24' parking spot; saving spaces is not permitted. Tailgating must cease at kickoff. Amplified sound systems/radios/audio devices with external speakers at loud levels or inappropriate language are prohibited. Tailgating should occur directly behind each fan's vehicle, ensuring drive lanes remain clear for emergency vehicles. Blocking other spots, walkways, or aisles with tents, trailers, chairs, coolers, or barbecues is not allowed. Tents over 10'x10' require prior approval. Kegs and large vessels are prohibited. Overnight parking is not permitted.
  • Signature food: Signature food items include the Tampa Cuban Dog, Tampa Mojo Chicken and Yellow Rice Bowl, Sweet Stack, and Healthy Bowl, available at various concession stands. The East Stadium Club features Bar 76, offering 76 varieties of beer and culinary stations. 'Seats at the 50' offers an all-inclusive buffet with gameday fare, beer, wine, and premium liquors.
  • Fan tradition: The 'Bucsparilla Invasion' is an official pre-game tradition where the Pirate Ship roams outside the stadium, throwing beads to fans, culminating at Bucs Beach. The stadium's pirate ship fires cannons during games.
