AT&T Stadium is in Arlington, not Dallas, and requires a car due to extremely limited public transit options. Visitors should plan to drive or use a rideshare with a designated pickup and drop-off area in Lot 15. For the most convenient trip, stay in the surrounding Arlington Entertainment District or book a hotel in Downtown Fort Worth.

Parking, transit, and arrival strategy

Transit and approach

The stadium is primarily accessible via personal vehicle or rideshare. Public transit options are extremely limited for events at this location.

Rideshare and parking

Rideshare: The designated rideshare pickup/drop-off area is located at Lot 15, on the north side of the stadium.

Parking: Parking areas at AT&T Stadium are generally open five (5) hours prior to Cowboys games. Purchasing passes in advance is recommended.

The game-day experience

  • Atmosphere area: Located in Arlington, Texas, within the Arlington Entertainment District, situated between the stadium and Globe Life Field.
  • Tailgating: Tailgating at AT&T Stadium is only permitted in designated grass/landscaped perimeter areas of specific lots (4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15) — not in Lot 3, portions of Lot 5, Lot 8, or Lot 9. Items such as coolers, tents, tables, and chairs may NOT be placed in front of, behind, or around a vehicle in a regular parking space; tailgating must instead be confined to the designated tailgate space adjacent to the rear of the vehicle, up to a maximum of 12 feet deep and 9 feet wide. Tailgating runs from lot opening until two hours after Dallas Cowboys or college football games conclude.
  • Signature food: The 'Vaquero Burger' and various premium stadium concessions often featured in rotating menus.
  • Fan tradition: The 'How 'Bout Them Cowboys!' chant and the tradition of wearing team jerseys to local establishments throughout the DFW metroplex.
