The MBTA Commuter Rail provides game-day train service from Boston (South Station) and Providence to Foxboro Station.
Gillette Stadium is in Foxborough, not Boston, requiring a specific travel plan from the city. Avoid the logistical challenge of post-game rideshare by either staying on-site at the Renaissance hotel within Patriot Place or taking the dedicated game-day commuter train from South Station.

Rideshare and parking
Rideshare: Designated rideshare drop-off and pick-up area is located in Lot 15.
Parking: Gillette Stadium is a completely cashless venue, though five Cash-to-Card kiosks are available on-site for fans who need to convert cash to a prepaid Visa card. Pre-paid parking reservations are available online and encouraged. A free parking option in the delayed-exit lot is available for Patriots games with online reservation. Gate opening times are per-event.
