Where to stay for Honda Center

Staying near Honda Center provides easy access to both hockey events and world-famous theme parks. The area caters to various budgets, with the JW Marriott Anaheim Resort mentioned as a luxury option.

Platinum Triangle

The Platinum Triangle district is undergoing significant urban transformation, featuring high-density housing, commercial spaces, and retail. It is uniquely situated to encompass both major sports venues in Anaheim. This area offers a blend of modern amenities and entertainment opportunities.

The neighborhood provides excellent access to the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC), which serves as a hub for Metrolink (Orange County Line, 91 Line, Inland Empire-Orange County Line), Amtrak (Pacific Surfliner), and OCTA buses. Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) also serves the Platinum Triangle, but its service is scheduled to end on March 31, 2026.

Anaheim Resort Area

Known primarily for the Disneyland Resort and Anaheim Convention Center, the Anaheim Resort Area offers a wide range of hotel accommodations and numerous dining and entertainment options. Its well-established infrastructure for tourism provides convenient access to various attractions.

The area is served by Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) shuttles, which have historically connected hotels to the Disneyland Resort, Anaheim Convention Center, Angel Stadium, and Honda Center. However, ART service is scheduled to cease operations on March 31, 2026. Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) buses also operate within the Anaheim Resort District.

Southeast Anaheim

Southeast Anaheim offers a practical choice with a mix of residential and commercial spaces, and housing options that appeal to various travelers. It provides convenient access to major freeways.

This neighborhood benefits from good freeway access (I-5, SR-91) for those driving. OCTA buses serve the area, and the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) is a short drive away, offering connections to Metrolink and Amtrak services.

Garden Grove (Anaheim border)

Parts of Garden Grove bordering Anaheim can offer more diverse accommodation options, potentially at different price points, while still providing relatively easy access to Anaheim's sports venues.

OCTA bus routes serve Garden Grove and connect to various points in Anaheim. Specific bus lines (e.g., 43, 54, 543) and train lines (OC Line, Pacific Surfliner) have stops near certain hotels in Garden Grove, providing connections towards ARTIC and the sports venues. Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) may have also served some areas, but its service is scheduled to end on March 31, 2026.
