Forget worrying about getting to the game—Canada Life Centre is incredibly easy to access. Book a hotel in Downtown Winnipeg or the trendy Exchange District and you can just stroll over. If you're coming by bus, the Graham Avenue Transit Corridor essentially drops you at the front door, with more than 40 routes converging within a one-minute walk of the arena.

Winnipeg Transit provides service to Canada Life Centre with over 40 to 58 bus routes converging from all parts of Winnipeg, with several stops located within a one-minute walk of the venue along the Graham Avenue Transit Corridor.

Rideshare and parking

Rideshare: Designated rideshare pickup and drop-off zones are located near Donald Street and Graham Avenue, as well as on Eastbound Portage Avenue between Carlton Street and Hargrave Street.

Parking: Attendees can purchase parking in advance using ParkMobile or ParkWhiz, with over 1,700 stalls available through Platinum Parking and Impark, the preferred parking providers. Accessible parking is available at several nearby lots, with accessible pick-up and drop-off points located immediately east of the stadium in the west lane of Donald Street.

After the event

The Exchange District, a trendy area with restaurants, bars, and nightlife, is located within walking distance. Hargrave St. Market also serves as a popular gathering place with food and beverage options for post-game activities.

  • Atmosphere area: Canada Life Centre is located in the heart of downtown Winnipeg, occupying an entire city block on Portage Avenue between Donald Street and Hargrave Street. Nearby landmarks include the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the main branch of the Winnipeg Public Library, and the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg.
  • Signature food: Popular food items include the Jumbo Jet Dog (an eight-inch wiener with various toppings like bacon bits, chili, and pierogies), the YWG Burger (featuring burgers inspired by Winnipeg staples such as the Sal's Jets Nip, Fatboy burger, and 'The Social Burger'), poutine, and perogies and farmer sausage.
  • Fan tradition: The 'Winnipeg Whiteout' is a cherished hockey tradition dating back to 1987, where fans wear white clothing to home playoff games to create an intimidating atmosphere. This tradition has expanded to include large outdoor street parties around Canada Life Centre during the playoffs.
