Northwest Stadium Guide

NFL · Washington · 64,000 capacity

Last updated: 5/16/2026

Northwest Stadium's location in Landover, Maryland, makes it a transit outlier, requiring a 20-minute, 1-mile walk from the nearest Metro stop. Visitors should skip downtown hotels for easier gameday access from nearby Largo.

Parking, transit, and arrival strategy

Transit and approach

The stadium is served by the Metro Blue and Silver lines at the Morgan Boulevard station, which requires a walk to the stadium.

Rideshare and parking

Rideshare: For the 2026 season, the designated rideshare drop-off and pick-up area is the Red Zone Lot, accessed through the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex off Sheriff Road. Enter the destination address as 8001 Sheriff Rd, Hyattsville, MD 20785. After the game, exit the stadium and follow signs to the Rideshare Lot at the back of the Red Zone Parking Lot. The Red Zone Lot is approximately 1,000 feet from the stadium gates.

Parking: Pre-purchased parking passes are required for most Northwest Stadium lots and are sold through SeatGeek. The Gray Lot is the exception — it is cash only, cannot be pre-purchased, and operates first-come, first-served on event days.

After the event

Most dining options are located away from the immediate stadium footprint; local sports bars in the Landover/Capital Heights area are common.
