Take the Link light rail to Westlake Station and transfer to the Seattle Center Monorail for a direct trip to the arena. This route, along with bus options, is covered by the free public transit pass included with your event ticket. The pass is valid from two hours before doors open until two hours after the event ends.

Where to stay for Climate Pledge Arena

Lower Queen Anne/Uptown, Belltown, South Lake Union, Downtown Seattle are ideal hotel neighborhoods. Seattle Southside is also mentioned for those traveling from outside Seattle.

Downtown Seattle

Downtown is the business and cultural hub of Seattle, offering a central location with major attractions like Pike Place Market. It serves as an excellent base with extensive public transportation options.

Downtown Seattle has an exceptional transit system. Westlake Station is a key Link Light Rail hub, providing connections to the Seattle Center Monorail (for Climate Pledge Arena) and other parts of the city. Numerous bus lines are also available.

Lower Queen Anne / Seattle Center

This neighborhood is home to Climate Pledge Arena and offers easy access to other popular attractions like the Space Needle and Museum of Pop Culture. It's generally considered a safe and walkable area.

The Seattle Center Monorail directly connects this area to Downtown Seattle's Westlake Center. Several King County Metro bus routes also serve the Seattle Center area.

Capitol Hill

Capitol Hill is known for its diverse and lively atmosphere, with a wide array of restaurants, bars, nightlife, and a prominent LGBTQ+ friendly scene.

The neighborhood features its own Link Light Rail station (Capitol Hill Station) and is also served by streetcars and numerous bus lines. It connects to Downtown and First Hill via the streetcar.

Transit and approach

Public transit is highly encouraged, with options including bus, Link light rail (connecting to Seattle Center Monorail at Westlake Station), and the Seattle Center Monorail. All guests receive a free public transit pass alongside their ticket for every publicly ticketed event, valid two hours before doors open and two hours after the event.

Rideshare and parking

Rideshare: Pre-Event drop-off locations: Republican St & Warren Ave N, MoPOP turnaround, Mercer St – McCaw Hall Drop Off Zone, Denny Way – Pacific Science Center Drop Off Zone. All rideshare vehicles are prohibited from dropping off riders on 1st Ave N. Post-Event pick-up locations (after a 30-45 minute restriction on 1st Ave N): MoPOP Museum, Space Needle (Broad St), Thomas St & Taylor Ave N (for Storm games).

Parking: Parking is available at every price point for every budget. Pre-purchase your parking using the Kraken + CPA Mobile App. Convenient parking is available at Climate Pledge Arena garages (Arena Garage and 1st Ave N Garage) and the 5th Ave Garage (Seattle Center operated). Closest ADA parking is in the Arena Garage and 1st Ave N Garage. Secure bike parking is available in the 1st Ave N parking garage for 5 cents per hour.

After the event

Tom's Watch Bar is an official post-game headquarters. Cairde Public House offers a late-night happy hour.
