Getting to the Delta Center is a breeze, especially from the airport—just hop on the UTA TRAX Green Line directly to Arena Station. The Blue Line also stops right at the venue. You'll find plenty of hotels a short walk away, and exploring is simple since rides on UTA buses and TRAX are complimentary within the downtown 'Free Fare Zone'.

Downtown Salt Lake City

Downtown Salt Lake City is a central hub for entertainment, dining, and nightlife, offering a wide selection of accommodations. It features a 'Free Fare Zone' for UTA buses and TRAX, making local travel inexpensive.

All three UTA TRAX light rail lines (Blue, Green, and Red) converge in Downtown. The Arena Station directly serves the Delta Center. Numerous UTA bus routes operate throughout downtown, and Salt Lake Central Station is a multi-modal transportation hub for TRAX, FrontRunner, and buses.

Central City / 9th & 9th

Central City offers a local vibe with walkable dining, indie shops, and coffee culture. It's located close to downtown, providing a more residential feel while still being well-connected.

Central City boasts a high Transit Score. Nearby East Central has 17 bus lines and one light rail line. The area is well-served by UTA bus routes, such as the 209, which connects to other parts of Salt Lake City.

Sugar House

Sugar House is known for its walkability, fun atmosphere, and a diverse selection of local shops, galleries, restaurants, and bars, reflecting a local-first mentality. It offers an eclectic mix of modernity and history.

The neighborhood is served by the S-Line streetcar, which connects residential and commercial areas in Sugar House to the UTA TRAX light rail system at Central Pointe Station. Several bus lines (e.g., 21, 213, 223) also serve the area.

University / Foothill

This neighborhood is ideal for those attending events at Rice-Eccles Stadium, being home to the University of Utah. It offers stunning scenery with quick access to the Wasatch Mountains, as well as world-class museums and art galleries.

The TRAX Red Line directly serves Rice-Eccles Stadium at Stadium Station. The area has a good Transit Score, with approximately 17 bus lines and one light rail line running through it.

Arrival and exit strategy

Transit and approach

Public transportation options include TRAX light rail (Arena Station), and bus services (routes 200, 451, 519, 520). Rideshare services are available with a designated pickup/drop-off zone on 300 West. For faster post-game pickups, it's recommended to walk a block away from the arena.

Rideshare and parking

Rideshare: The designated Lyft pickup zone is located in the southeast corner of the arena on 300 W. The passenger drop-off zone is also on 300 West, but due to postgame traffic, this area may not be accessible for pickup. It is recommended to walk a block away from the arena after the game for potentially faster pickup times and better rates.

Parking: Delta Center features more than 10,000 parking spaces within a two-block radius. Accessible parking spaces are available in the Park Place parking lot located to the northeast of Delta Center on South Temple. Most parking locations no longer accept cash. For specific event pricing and alternative options, guests can contact the Delta Center via email or phone. A passenger drop-off zone is located on 300 West.

After the event

Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club (open until 12 AM on Friday and Saturday, features nightlife and is a popular spot for nighttime socializing). STK Steakhouse also offers late-night happy hour until closing (10 PM to close Sunday-Thursday, 12 AM close Friday-Saturday). Other nearby bars include Gracie's Bar & Grill (open late) and Lake Effect (craft cocktails, live music).
