South Main Arts District

A historic and artsy neighborhood south of Beale Street, offering a unique blend of restaurants, shops, and art galleries, with a local, entrepreneurial feel. It's also close to the National Civil Rights Museum.

Arrival and exit strategy

Transit and approach

FedExForum is accessible via public transit, including express shuttle bus service and three separate trolley lines. The Beale Street Station and Linden Station trolley stops are within a 10-minute walk. Taxis and rideshare services like Uber or Lyft are also options.

Rideshare and parking

Rideshare: The designated drop-off and pick-up location for rideshare services, taxis, and limos is at the east end of the arena on Fourth Street, between Beale Street and Dr. M.L. King Jr. Avenue.

Parking: The FedExForum Gossett Motors Parking Garage, located adjacent to the arena, offers 1,500 parking spaces. Pre-booking a parking spot is recommended, especially for Grizzlies and Tigers games, and can be done through services like ParkMobile or the official Grizzlies app. Accessible parking is available in the garage and the Dr. M.L. King Jr. Avenue marshalling area. Guests should allow ample time for arrival due to potential traffic and construction.

After the event

Beale Street offers numerous late-night options. Some popular choices include Silly Goose (cocktails and wood-fired pizza, open until 2-3 AM), Bardog Tavern (sliders and snacks, open until 3 AM), Blues City Cafe (kitchen open late), Earnestine & Hazel's (open until 3 AM Fri/Sat), and Printer's Alley (late-night bar, drinks served 24 hours).
