Key logistics

Bag policyLucas Oil Stadium enforces a clear bag policy. Permitted bags include clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. Small clutch bags or purses, approximately the size of a hand (no larger than 4.5" x 6.5"), are also allowed and do not need to be clear. Bags containing medical devices and related supplies, including breast pumps and diaper bags, are exempt from the clear bag policy but are subject to security screenings and search at the gates. Backpacks, large purses, and non-clear bags exceeding the clutch size are prohibited. There is no on-site bag check available.
Doors openFor Indianapolis Colts home games, gates at Lucas Oil Stadium open two (2) hours prior to kickoff. For other public events, door opening times may vary, typically between 90 minutes to 2 hours before the event start time.
Cashless?Lucas Oil Stadium is completely cashless for all Indianapolis Colts home games and many other events. This includes all retail outlets, concession stands, bars, and the Colts Pro Shop inside the stadium. Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, and Google Pay are accepted. For guests with cash, two cash-to-card kiosks are available (typically at Sections 105 and 129, but locations may vary for other events) to convert cash into a pre-paid debit card with no transaction fee, usable inside and outside the stadium.
Rideshare zoneThe designated pick-up and drop-off location for rideshare services like Uber and Lyft is Northbound Illinois Street, one block east of Lucas Oil Stadium. To request a ride after an event, guests must exit the stadium and walk towards Illinois Street, outside of the geofenced perimeter, to ensure a smooth pick-up. Designated zones near South Street and Capitol Avenue are also mentioned for drop-offs.
Re-entryDuring Indianapolis Colts home games, there is a strict no re-entry policy; guests who exit the gated area will not be allowed to re-enter. For other events, this policy may vary.
TransitLucas Oil Stadium is located in downtown Indianapolis and is accessible via several public transit options. The IndyGo bus system provides numerous routes that stop near the stadium, including Routes 8, 10, 31, 16, 24, 25, 56, 90, and 92. The Red Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) also stops close to Lucas Oil Stadium at the Maryland Street Station. Indianapolis Union Station, serving Amtrak and Greyhound passengers, is within walking distance of the stadium.

Parking

Lucas Oil Stadium offers official parking in lots such as the South Lot and North Lot. There are over 70,000 parking spots available downtown in various lots, garages, and on-street. It is highly recommended to arrive at least 3 hours prior to kickoff for Colts games to allow time for navigation and parking due to potential road closures and heavy traffic. Accessible parking may be available in the South Lot for some events, requiring a valid placard/license plate and a Colts parking pass for Colts games. Advance parking passes can be purchased through services like ParkWhiz.com. Victory Field, a short walk from the stadium, also offers parking.
