Bag policyFans are permitted to bring manufactured diaper bags, medical bags, clutches, and small bags not exceeding 16”x16”x8”. Backpacks are not permitted. Bags do not have to be clear for Guardians games. Hard-sided coolers are not permitted.
Doors openSunday - Thursday: All gates open 1 hour prior to first pitch. Friday and Saturday games in April, May, and September: All gates open 1.5 hours prior to first pitch. Friday and Saturday games from May 29 - August 29: All gates open 2 hours prior to first pitch. Gate times are subject to change.
Cashless?Progressive Field is a cashless venue. All purchases must be made with a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Guards Mobile Wallet. Reverse ATM machines are available to convert cash to a prepaid card at no charge.
Rideshare zoneDedicated rideshare pickup and drop-off areas are located near Ontario Street and Carnegie Avenue. Lyft has a dedicated pickup and drop-off area on Erie Court. Uber previously had a dedicated area at East 9th and Erie Court.
Re-entryFans needing to exit and re-enter Progressive Field must do so through a dedicated gate at the Left Field Gate. Their game ticket or seat locator will be scanned upon exit and re-scanned upon re-entry through the security checkpoint.
TransitThe Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) offers rapid transit and bus services, including the Red Line and HealthLine, with stops close to the ballpark. RTA's free downtown trolleys (E-Line and B-Line) also provide access. The RTA Walkway from Tower City opens three hours prior to baseball games for easy access.

Parking

Official parking is available in the Gateway East Garage (650 E Huron Rd, Cleveland, OH 44115). Fans with parking passes can enter as early as 3 hours before game time. Reserve parking in advance with ParkMobile. ADA parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking prices typically range from $10-$30.

Family & accessibility

  • Strollers: Strollers are permitted to be brought into Progressive Field. Fold-up type strollers must be stored beneath the seat or checked at any Gate or at a Fan Services location. Strollers should not be placed in an aisle or block access to an aisle.
  • Family perks: The Family Deck on the Level Three concourse features the Uncrustables Kids Clubhouse, a two-story play area with toys. Family amenities include a parents lounge, lactation rooms, interactive games, and a sensory room/sensory bags (available at Fan Services booths). Free ID wristbands for young children are available at Fan Services.

Culture layer

  • Signature food: Signature food items include the 'Slider Dog' (a hotdog topped with mac and cheese, bacon, and Froot Loops), Crab Rangoon Nachos, and build-your-own tacos at Barrio. Ball Park Mustard is a local favorite. The Cold Brew Float with gelato from Café Arnone is also a recommended treat.
  • Local tradition: A local fan tradition includes the 'John Adams Bleachers,' named in honor of a long-time fan who rallied the team by beating his drum. The left-field bleacher seating area is known for attracting the 'rowdiest' fans. Dollar Dog nights and $2 beer block party days are popular promotional events that attract fans.
