Key logistics
| Bag policy | Q2 Stadium prohibits all bags, backpacks, and other carriers. Exemptions are made for clutch-size purses/bags equal to or smaller than the size of a hand (approximately 8"x5"x1"), medical bags, and childcare bags when accompanied by a child. Clear bags are not permitted. Bag check lockers are available for a fee at the Northwest and Southwest Gates. |
|---|---|
| Doors open | Gates generally open 90 minutes prior to the start of an event, but this is subject to change depending on the specific event. |
| Cashless? | Q2 Stadium is a cashless facility. Guests can convert cash to ATXFC Cash at the Guest Services Center located on the Main Concourse (100) behind Section 124. |
| Rideshare zone | Rideshare drop-off and pick-up are located on Delta Drive, accessed via Metric, on the East side of Q2 Stadium. The pickup area after games is also on Delta Drive. |
| Re-entry | Re-entry is not allowed once guests leave the stadium during an event. |
| Transit | Capital Metro (CapMetro) provides public transit options, including bus routes (3, 383, 392, 803) that drop off near the stadium, and MetroRail service to McKalla Station, which is directly adjacent to the stadium on the East side. CapMetro boosts service frequency on game days and offers Park & Ride facilities. |
Parking
On-site parking is limited, so fans are encouraged to pre-purchase parking passes through the Austin FC app or Pavemint. Capital Metro Park & Ride facilities offer an alternative.
Family & accessibility
- Strollers: Strollers are permitted at Q2 Stadium but should never be stored in an aisle or stairway. Guest Services personnel can help identify a proper storage location or offer stroller parking.
- Family perks: Q2 Stadium offers family restrooms, Mother's Rooms (behind Sections 103 and 125), and a Sensory Room (behind Section 124). Contact information wristbands for children are available at Guest Services. Stroller parking and kid-friendly food options are also provided.
Culture layer
- Signature food: Q2 Stadium highlights local food partners, including Michelin-starred La Barbecue, Chinese bao buns from Bao'd Up, Argentinian empanadas from Little Patagonia, falafel and shawarma wraps from Shawarma Point, Mexican tacos from OneTaco, shishito and elote corndogs from Austin Table, and Kerbey Lane's Queso (Classic and Vegan) from a dedicated cart.
- Local tradition: Austin FC fan traditions are notable for their passionate Supporters' Section (Sections 101-105), which features standing-only areas, drums, chants, and coordinated displays from supporter groups such as Los Verdes and La Murga de Austin. Chants of 'Verde! Listos!' are a common fixture of the fan experience.
