Truist Park Guide

MLB · Atlanta

Last updated: 6/1/2026

Unlike Atlanta's downtown venues, Truist Park has no direct rail access, requiring fans to transfer from MARTA rail to a bus and shuttle. To avoid a complicated commute, book your hotel on-site in The Battery Atlanta or the nearby Cumberland area. This makes the ballpark your home base rather than a quick trip from downtown.

Where to stay for Truist Park

The Battery Atlanta (on-site) or Cumberland/Galleria area.

Midtown Atlanta

Midtown is a dynamic and walkable neighborhood known for its arts, culture, and nightlife, offering a lively atmosphere with a neighborhood feel. It's consistently ranked as one of the region's most walkable areas.

Midtown is well-connected by MARTA, with the North Ave, Midtown, and Arts Center stations (Red/Gold Lines). It offers a one-seat ride to/from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Rail and bus transit provide quick access to Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena. For Truist Park, you can take MARTA to Arts Center Station and then transfer to a CobbLinc Route 10 bus or MARTA Bus 12, followed by the Cumberland Circular Shuttle.

Buckhead

Buckhead is an affluent and upscale neighborhood known for luxury shopping, fine dining, and a vibrant nightlife, attracting urban professionals and young families. It is also considered generally safe, with areas like North Buckhead having very low crime rates.

Buckhead is served by MARTA's Red Line, with stations at Buckhead, Lenox, and Lindbergh Center. There's a direct MARTA train from Buckhead Station to North Avenue Station for Bobby Dodd Stadium (approximately 11 minutes). For Truist Park, Buckhead is a more convenient starting point than Downtown/Midtown, requiring a transfer from MARTA to CobbLinc bus service and a free circular shuttle.
