There are 38 city-weekends with exactly three leagues still ahead from September 18 through November 29. Dallas and Los Angeles lead that remaining-fall window with five each. Across the full September-to-January comparison, Minneapolis leads with seven of the 50 city-weekends.
What counts as a three-league weekend?
One metro, one Friday-to-Sunday window, exactly three different leagues at home. The leagues considered are MLB, NBA, college football, NFL and NHL. Three baseball games do not qualify; college football and the NFL are separate leagues within the same sport.
Preseason and exhibition games are excluded. A weekend with four of the considered leagues is also excluded, so this is an exactly-three ranking. The number measures schedule opportunities, not 50 guaranteed itineraries: start times can conflict even when the city and weekend match.
The September 11-13 weekend is already underway. It remains in the full comparison but is no longer the lead trip to book from scratch.

The full comparison starts September 11, 2026 and includes games through January 10, 2027. The remaining-fall column covers complete weekends from September 18 through November 29. It stops before December, so a city can lead one column without leading the other.

September 18-20: give each Los Angeles venue its own day
The Dodgers calendar places the Giants in Los Angeles that Friday. UCLA hosts Purdue at 8 p.m. Pacific Saturday; the Chargers host the Raiders at 1:05 p.m. Pacific Sunday.
The venue order is Dodger Stadium, Rose Bowl, SoFi Stadium. The Rose Bowl leg takes you to Pasadena and the NFL leg to Inglewood, so build each day's route from your hotel. Friday baseball prevents a Saturday collision with UCLA's evening game.

Minneapolis still has four fall opportunities
The remaining Minneapolis fall dates begin October 2, October 23, November 6 and November 27. The mix changes: not every weekend contains a Vikings game. October 2 combines college football, NFL and NHL; November 6 combines NBA, college football and NHL.
November 27-29 is the holiday option. The Wild host Colorado Friday at 3 p.m. Central, the Timberwolves host Memphis at 7:30 p.m. Central, and the Vikings host Atlanta Sunday. The Wild ticket calendar, NBA game page and Vikings schedule confirm the fixtures.
That Friday requires a transfer from Saint Paul's Grand Casino Arena to Minneapolis's Target Center. The METRO Green Line serves stations near Grand Casino Arena, but the start-time gap is not a guaranteed end-to-end connection. Allow for the hockey game, exit queues and the actual service that day.
